Christmas in July Movie #15 🎄🏖️

All this lady has ever wanted was a puppy for Christmas, and she finally gets one that is so misbehaved that she just laughs it off. Oh you ate the sofa, ha ha. Oh you peed on my laptop and bed, ha ha ha. No wonder the puppy acts like that as she holds him almost the entire movie. So this holiday isn't going great for this lady. Sure she's got her puppy but she's on the brink of being fired, her boyfriend dumps her and then throws her out so she has to sleep under her desk at work. Lucky for her she's got a cute hippy dippy coworker who invites her to his family's cabin for Christmas. It's a long ride through the snowy woods, and they're by themselves, and she'll be surrounded by strangers, and how didn't she get murdered? Oh right this ain't Lifetime. This movie is a lot, and very familiar as they throw a save the something last minute. Some comedy moments feel weird or flat, but I admit too enjoying this. It's not perfect, but it's weird moments I did like. I did chuckle at the older lady dating younger guys and saying she falls over while shaving her legs. There have been some bad movie boyfriends but this one tops the list. This lady is a lot, and she learns no lessons that she should, but it's Christmas and she's got a puppy she won't train so there.

My Rating: 🌟🌟½
