Bonus - Hollywood Dirt (2017)

Synopsis:
Hollywood arrives in force to Quincy, the small town where the secret Crown Cola billionaire's live. They want to film about the billionaire's and how they made their fortunes. Summer Jenkins, who was the town pariah, joins forces with the scout, Ben, and finds filming locations, extras, lessons with the town officials and house owners, etc. When Cole Masten arrives, they hate each other, but sparks fly. This is a great story about Southern customs, a Southern girl, and a Hollywood star who finds his lady.

If you're a fan of middle of the road steamy romances, and want to see Emma Rigby in the shortest shorts you can imagine with a very drawn out southern accent than this is a movie for you. To be fair they have Johann Urb constantly shirtless and nearly undressed, so equal exploitation of the sexy leads.

So this is based on the novel by Alessandra Torre which I assume is probably better than what I just watched. Honestly I got a love/hate thing with this movie. I absolutely bursted into a fit of laughter over some of the dialog, the phone sex scene had me literally rolling on the floor. I needed the belly laughs. There were parts I actually did enjoy, the catty towns folks, the bitchy lawyer, just the stereotypes of Hollywood people and having fun with that. The sex scenes were kinda hot, I do think the leads had chemistry, it's a solid enough looking movie, some questionable acting, but the dialog was something else. The wardrobe in this movie was not great. I know Emma Rigby is hot, and super skinny, and you want to have her in as little as possible, but some of it was ridiculous. Just what was the wardrobe budget? Did they just run out of fabric? Sing the Facts of Life theme song every time Mindy Cohn pops up to have a real good time.
