What a promising start. Dead body in the snow, creepy music, a boyfriend and girlfriend who’ve only been dating for three months are going to visit his parents, and then the credits stoped rolling and the snooze fest began. Early on I figured out what the twist was gonna be. We spend the entire time with a family in grief, and a snarky sister. Basically a lot of standing around the kitchen and talking each other to death. The protagonist in this film is annoying. Sure all the folks in that house are suspicious, but show us something. I’m gonna stare at this picture for ten minutes. Oh no someone is coming better hide in that closet while nothing happens. The ending is anticlimactic. Of course it was gonna end like that. I don’t mind the slow pace, but throw us viewers some crumbs. Serve the dinner rolls before the meal already.
