Christmas in July Movie #9 πŸŽ„πŸ–

What screams Christmas better than a married couple with a broken marriage surviving a plane crash. I picked another winner guys. This movie stinks. It's poorly acted, looks cheap, and even though it's set around Christmas it's not really Christmassy. It's not really a true blue holiday movie. For example it's like a Shane Black script, always set at Christmas but not a Christmas movie. So hubby is a work-a-holic, and wifey is just fed up. The plane crash is just unexciting. These guys are just walking back and forth in the same wooded spot. I laughed so hard at Alexandra Paul fighting off wolves. That's the most exciting part of the movie. All this is happening while they are trying to take over hubby's company. Watching their kids cry was laughable. Brendan Penny looks so damn young here, and he's bad acting as usual. He's got this extended shirtless scene with his baby pecs and ugly tattoos farting around. God I'm an asshole. I watched this on the Up Faith & Family streaming service and they bleeped out the curse words. There wasn't that many, and I don't think anything else was edited out. So if your a purist and wanna watch trash that's intact maybe not there. This movie is not good, just say no.
