Christmas in July Movie #19 πŸŽ„πŸ–️

This was okay. They say this story about a reporter looking for the secret Santa helper from her youth was inspired by a true story, but how much who knows. I found Michelle Trachtenberg a tad stiff, I get she's a reporter trying to get ahead but you don't got to play it that hard. Again this was a serviceable enough holiday movie with drama, orphans, good people, retirees, one evil dude, secrets, romance, and men of business who apparently have no souls. I don't know if this movie needed that much drama, or I'm starting to get burned out already by these holiday movies during this heat wave. I actually thought this movie was gonna be weepy when I read the synopsis, boy was I wrong. It's predictable for sure, but it's fine enough. It really is.

My Rating: 🌟🌟½
