----- SPOILERS -----
I've got mixed feelings over this. I don't understand why Oscar winner Rachel Shenton, playing an American world famous opera singer, had to kind of give up her career to stay in a very charming British town with a guy and his kid. Sure she found love with an artistic person, but they knew she was a singer and like she'll come back after her gig guys. Any who it's your typical I'm on vacation and fell in love with with a guy during the week of Christmas, and helps save so and so, and gives up on her life's works and dreams for a man. It's cute-ish, it's got its charms, lovely scenery, but boring. It'll do in a pinch.
For anybody wondering Rachel Shenton won the Oscar in 2018 for Best Live Action Short Film 'The Silent Child'. She wrote, co-produced, and starred in the film. She's probably best know for her roles on Hollyoaks and Switched at Birth.
My Rating: ⭐⭐½
