Synopsis:
A down-on-her-luck chef, Maria Winters, who dreams of starting her own line of food trucks, agrees to pose as the girlfriend of a hotshot Seattle attorney, Julian Diaz, visiting his family for Christmas, to help him prove he’s the ideal candidate to take over the family firm. But their business arrangement is complicated by the magic of the season as real sparks begin to fly.

Nice take on strangers pretending to be a couple for the holidays to only end up really falling in love. Pretty decent chemistry and acting, some nice family tension, and the banter was pretty good. It took me a few moments to warm up to this dude Julian, he was to rude and bratty, but I guess that's the point. This lawyer determined to win his father's approval is the driving force of this fake romance, so naturally he's gonna soften up. I don't know, it's a crazy premise really. In reality would Maria, a chef who dreams of owing her own food truck, really pretend to date the guy who was her Ubber fare? Would she really be that desperate? I mean that family house was utterly gorgeous, so who knows. This is a recipe for murder really. It's all in good fun, and it only takes that Christmas weekend to find true love. This movie was fun.
