Synopsis:
Casa de Milagro is a family-owned business that makes holiday ornaments and décor, inspired by Mexican Christmas traditions. Their award-winning designs, created by matriarch Milagro Ortega, are highly sought after each holiday season. Siblings Tony and Magdalena, with help from their dad, run the shop in Santa Fe, but when their beloved Milagro unexpectedly passes, the family struggles to find its heart. With Milagro gone, Belinda Sawyer, an executive at one of the largest greeting card and holiday décor chains, sees an opportunity to acquire the company. When sparks fly between Belinda and Tony, Belinda realizes there is more to Casa de Milagro than meets the eye.

At one point in this movie they are throwing and man handling a ham which is like a sin in my book, but the ham was clearly fake. Act like there’s some weight to that thing and not like it’s a stuffed bag.
Any who, there’s nothing bad per se about this movie. We’ve got a potential family business buyout, a daughter struggling to match her mother’s artistic level, a precocious child, an all knowing father, and two people falling in love despite the dreaded last-minute obstacle. It’s set in Santa Fe, and filmed there as well, so location wise it’s all nice. Honestly I was bored by the whole thing. The romance of this movie was a snore, I couldn’t get into it. There was no chemistry between Mario Lopez and Emeraude Toubia. It was like watching paint dry. The best part of this movie was Aimee Garcia and her character’s struggle to live up to her mother’s legacy. The family dynamic of the story was the most interesting aspect of this movie.
