Synopsis:
Mikaela a successful romance novelist who has had bad luck in love, visits a quaint bed and breakfast for a Christmas writer's retreat near a snowy lake town each year. Upon arriving, she meets dashing writer, Levi who soon convinces Mikaela that she shouldn't be writing about it, if she doesn't allow herself to get out and actually experience it.

Lifetime’s finale holiday film of the season and it’s just okay. I found it a little dull, but the cast was mostly good. Bunch of writers go to a writing retreat. This lady is struggling to finish her book and decides last minute to bring back her mother’s writing retreat. She’s immediately stalked by a dude who’s secretly writing an article about her famous author mother. Don’t worry he’s really a good guy because this movie is nice so he deserves a second chance. Honestly the conflict is stupid. Why keep secret the writing an article about this lady’s mom. Just be honest and say you wanna write about her mom. If she said no, then it’s no. They could of still hung out at the retreat and falling in love in a week. I mean you wouldn’t have a movie then, but it’s so stupid. He’s not even writing a hit piece. I can’t believe you didn’t tell me that you were writing a positive retrospect on my mother and her writing retreat! Where you using me all this time just to get info? It’s so dumb.
