Meagan Holder played a cook/chef/baker last year in a holiday film, which I find adorably, funny and desperately hope she keeps up this tradition. Fingers crossed that she’s got a new Christmas movie coming out this year and she’s a baker.
Really liked and enjoyed this one. It’s got family secrets, light family dysfunction, friends to lovers, fake fiancés, kids afraid to speak their desires, bad girlfriends, bad boyfriends, make ups, breakups, drama, comedy, and heart. Likable characters, a solid cast, good chemistry, and a cheery vibe. They take a familiar and well worn Christmas plots and make the best of it. This movie might not be breaking any new ground, but it’s fun and well worth a watch.
