This movie was sweet, and I loved the core friendship of it all. Laura Vandervoort is hit or miss with me, but I actually really liked her character. She worked well with Henry Lennix, and the father/daughter like friendship was the highlight of the film. I thought the journey to find and reconnect with your first love was endearing. Didn't care much for the romance developing between Laura Vandervoort and Niall Matter's characters. Not a fan of Niall Matter, I'm sorry to the dude he's probably a nice guy, I just don't see anything there. He looked like he rolled out of bed and went to work. This movie is sweet, and it mostly works.
