Christmas in July Movie #11 🎄🏖

Okay I highly enjoyed this movie, and Warren Christie with his sexy flirting self was a large part of it. I do admit that the premise is totally weird, and hard to believe. Amy Acker gets invited to her ex husband's girlfriend's parent's house for Christmas. She is definitely the third wheel, but luckily her ex-hubby's girlfriend has a smoking hot brother she can hook up with. There are no villains in this movie, everyone is an adult with good intentions for the most part. However the girlfriend tries too hard, and that ex-hubby did not stay in his lane and was a complete ass hat at one point. This lady got a straight up upgrade. There's misunderstandings, awkward situations, a real swoon worthy near kiss that was only topped by a smoking hot kiss in the hot springs. You know that Golden Girls gif where Blanch sprays herself with water to cool down, that was me. What a treat to have them make out before the movie ends.

Hallmark really outdid themselves here. Movie looks good, way better than what they've been putting out lately. Good cast with really good chemistry. I think this whole premise is utterly unbelievable, but it was a lot of fun to watch. There's this scene where Maggie (Acker) is wearing very family friendly pajamas and opens the door expecting Sam (Christie) to only find her ex-husband. She then runs to put on a robe like he's never seen her in pjs before. That's Hallmark code for sex if I've ever seen it. Sam is like bummed he missed her in them pjs and hopes to see them one day. I'm pretty sure that as soon as the credits rolled Sam got to seem them all night long. Utterly charmed by this movie.

My Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 💖 👍👍
