A Sequel to last year's Disney Advert Lola, we follow her granddaughter Nicole who is all grown up with her own children, Max and Ella. Mike, the stepdad, moves in and with the help of a very special storybook, which belonged the children's father, helps the family navigate this new dynamic with the power of storytelling. New and old Christmas traditions are celebrated, and there's much love and understanding spread about.

🎄 2021 Christmas Binge Watch Movie #9 🎄
Even though this is a three minute advert for all things Disney, it's beautiful animated and touching. I don't think it's as powerful as last year's Lola, but it still packs a punch. Once again there's no dialog, and we hear the lovely song 'Love Runs Deeper' by Grammy Winner Gregory Porter. I appreciate that this is a sequel to Lola, and we do get nods to the previous short woven throughout. I loved how the family got together reading the Disney storybook, and how the story magically leaps off the page. This is very sweet, and very Disney. Even if it is an ad the sentiment is there.
