πŸŽ„ 2021 Christmas Binge Watch Movie #85 πŸŽ„

Hallmark's last holiday film of the season and they went out with a winner. It was pretty funny, with multiple romances, likable characters, and Travis Van Winkle not wearing anything but a towel for like a solid two minutes. Thank you tv gods.

So a relationship expect, I think, has written a book and the publisher thinks the fiancΓ© in said book is real and not just a place holder for what could be. Who would thunk, right? So off Merry goes to Vermont with her bestie Darlene to rethink her book. Actually I don't know how much of an expert she is, cause she posts on instagram a lot, I guess she has a blog. Who knows. Any who Merry meets up with Darlene's super sexy, I build houses all around the world, brother Adam who once had a crush on Merry. He is clearly still smitten, and why not she's bubbly. I guess with her name being Merry, and you know it being Christmas, and the title of this movie and what not, guess that's all manipulative synergy in its highest form. Seriously, who names their kid Merry? At least spelled that way. I’m sure somebody out there did, so sorry. Nothing in this movie you haven't seen before, and this plot could've taken place any time of the year, but the cast is solid, the chemistry is good, everyone seems to be having a good time, and the movie doesn't take itself too seriously. There's a silliness and levity to it all that make this an enjoyable watch, at least for me.

My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐
